FMB Global Cook Book - 38 recipes - Proceeds go to charity

FMB global cook book is a wonderful example of different people and different cultures coming together to produce something unique in the internet. I was happy to contribute but if it wasn’t for my mother I could not as I hardly know how to cook anything! For her it was a wonderful experience as she values a lot sharing stories and old traditional ways of life that she experienced once. So if you want to know how to cook an ugly lamprey the way portuguese do it in Mondego river's region check my mom's recipe!! Being a part of something so new and modern as getting a book published using internet tools and online collaboration was very exciting for her. We had fun putting everything together.The proceeds from selling the book go to a charity called Stop Hunger Now. So go now and buy a copy! Check this link!

Concurso Martelinhos S.João - como acabou!

Olá a todos! Não tenho tido tempo para actualizar este blogue mas quero agradecer a todos os que votaram no meu Martelinho de S. João . As minhas três participações não conseguiram ser premiadas na 1ª fase do concurso, passaram à 2ª fase, sendo votadas no Facebook, onde também havia um prémio em jogo, e estão expostas na Fábrica de Talentos, Porto, até ao fim de Julho. Obrigada a quem votou nos  meus Martelinhos! --- Hello everyone! I did not have any time to update this blog lately  but I want to thank everyone who voted in my Martelinho S. João.  My three proposals  were not awarded at the 1st stage of the competition, went to the 2nd phase, were then voted on Facebook, where there was also a prize at stake, and were only selected to the exibition at Fábrica de Talentos, Oporto, by the end of July.
